The San Diego Council of Bass Clubs held its annual Military Tribute Tour Fishing with a Pro day at El Capitan Reservoir Saturday August 31st
There were 22 Air Force, Navy, and Marines attending. The sponsors were Sandy Rose Bauler, Barnical Bills Bait and Tackle and Dlll Trucking. The service people had a great time fishing and a raffle and refreshments after.
The Bass Council would like to thank Sandy Rose Bauler for organizing the Military personal and all the volunteer boaters Bill Van Wulven, Garry Bass, Kevin Graney, Rick Fallon, Joe Kling, Jacob Eddleman, Chris Rybar, Mike Lupo, Jeff Bauler, Morgan, Barclay Davis, Ron Overman and Jason Cloke.

The San Diego Council of Bass Clubs donated $3,000.00 to ALS Association. Steve Becvar the Executive Director thanked Rick Fallon, Ron Overman and the San Diego Council of Bass Clubs for the donation. The ALS Association San Diego Chapter supports people living with ALS ( Lou Gehrig’s Disease ) and their loved ones through service and education. Their mission is to discover treatments and a cure for ALS, and to serve, advocate for, and empower people affected by ALS to live their lives to the fullest.
The San Diego Council of Bass Clubs donated $3,000.00 to Rady Children’s Hospital. Kourtney King the Community Development Officer thanked Rick Fallon, Ron Overman and the Council for the support of Rady Children’s Hospital Saying it really means the world. Kourtney thanked the Council for supporting them and allowing them to continue providing the best care to patients and families. Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego is a nonprofit, 524 bed pediatric care facility dedicated to excellence in care, research, and teaching. Rady’s is dedicated exclusively to pediatric health care and trauma center.
The San Diego Council of Bass Clubs donated $3,000.00 to the Warrior Foundation Freedom Station. Sandy Lehmkuhler Founder and CEO thanked Bill vanWulven, Rick Fallon and the San Diego Council of Bass Clubs for the donation. Sandy also Presented Bill vanWulven with an award for all the years of giving to the Warrior Foundation events. The Warrior Foundation Freedom Station aims are to assist, honor, and support military men and woman. Providing quality of life items, support services and transitional housing to assist during recovery.
